New Front Door and Window Install

Before: Storm door had been removed, leaving wooden framing and old chain visibly exposed on the front door. Old window and front door are drafty and dated.
After: New window and front door have been installed. Window size has been adjusted to accommodate new cabinetry inside and front door has been reframed to fit properly. New siding better compliments the house.

  2. Cool! Now I can better tell the window from the door. :P But seriously, it wouldn’t be healthy for your house to leave the door frame uncovered from elements that might be detrimental to its structure. It will surely cause much bigger repairs.

  3. I love this little porch. It has a cozy country feel to it. I wish the windows and doors installation company I hired in Calgary could have done something like this. They did great work but the materials they used were limited.

  4. I’d say it was a good move to replace your window and your door. Aside from presenting an opportunity to enhance the look of your home, replacing these home exterior parts is also a chance to bolster your home’s security. By the way, if you ever decide to paint the door and the window frame, I suggest you try the color red. I think it will nicely complement the neutral color of your home and sidings, and it will add character to your home. ;)
